Hi Neighbors!
Wanted to update you to what is
going on now! First off we feel very fortunate to still be in sunny
Borrego enjoying near perfect weather conditions this season. Not a
better place to spend some extra time! Second we want to truly
thank everyone for the tremendous moral support over the last two
months as we transitioned out of jobs we both truly enjoyed in the
best of times and certainly if nothing else appreciated having in
the worst. Nevertheless the true pleasure and benefit of our
positions was in meeting, serving and becoming friends with so many
in the Montesoro Community. Please know our wish no matter where we
land is to maintain those wonderful friendships!
As many have heard management is now
allowing me to play golf with members, utilize the golf range and
give lessons. I am grateful and appreciative of the opportunity.
(Thanks to all of you that helped to make that happen.) I certainly
love getting out of the house and taking a break from the exhaustive
job search! Please don't hesitate to call or email if you need a
golf lesson. I am happy to oblige and would love to get back into
doing my favorite part of the game - teaching!
Beth is keeping very busy. Borrego
Desert Vacations Rental Homes (the company she and her father
started last summer) as you can imagine is in full swing this time
of year with lots of renters in town. And we are happy to have the
extra income to keep us afloat!
With the rentals and corresponding
income coming to an abrupt halt in April, Beth and I have started a
new business distributing MonaVie (a functional health beverage not
available in stores). We are both very excited about the
possibilities. We feel the MonaVie Corporation provides a win-win
to both the distributor and consumer. We have been consuming the
juice drink ourselves since last August and have been amazed at the
beneficial results. And now as distributors we are able to share
this amazing juice with our friends and family and afford you with
the same ability to experience the wonderful health benefits MonaVie
provides. Nothing would make us happier than to see everyone we
know and love be able to increase their longevity, improve
the quality of their lives and reverse aging. And we believe the
anti-oxidant power of the MonaVie juice will do just that.
