Project Description:

LA County privately held Land Development Company/ Home Builder is seeking a project manager for a large resort/ master planned community project in San Diego County.  The project is specifically located in Borrego Springs, CA (2 hours East of San Diego).  Project manager will support the senior project manager and Superintendents on all nonresidential vertical construction and high end production housing.  Const. management degree preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the completion of design drawings, construction drawings, plan check and permitting
• Review, coordinate and tack submittals, RFI’s, shop drawings, schedules, samples and materials
• Estimate job costs
• Analyze job costs
• Maintain communication and document flow between construction team, design team, owner, subcontractors and vendors
• Prepare and manage bid proposals
• Track change orders
• Scheduling and coordinating with General Superintendent
• Keep contract plans current with change orders and field directives
• Managing options and upgrades for homes and model homes
• Managing multiple projects at the same time
