New year, New Look, New Name

Hi everyone,

Hats off to Rams Hill goodwill - In a recent front page article in the Borrego Sun (see the Jan 26, 2006 edition) it was noted that 15 Rams Hill residents donated $75,000.00 for the purchase of digital X-ray equipment for the Borrego Medical Center.

Name that Golf Course - It seems that the surprise just could not be contained and word leaked out about a name change for Rams Hill.  No doubt you have heard that a new name for Rams Hill was being considered.  Well a new name has been selected and that new name will be Montesoro.  You will be hearing more on this in the future.

Blue skies & green fairways - Best wishes to all for the New Year.  2006 is shaping up to be a great year of New Beginnings for Rams Hill.  Progress has been made on the golf course and for the first time in the history of Rams Hill we have greens and fairways in places where they never existed before !

Clubhouse makeover - Design layouts have been placed in the Lobby to reveal a whole new look and feel for our Clubhouse.

And speaking of the Clubhouse - You are invited to join in the fun.  Super Bowl Sunday.  See Poster below.

A friend moves on - Many of you will recognize the name of Arline Whited.  Arline was a conscientious property manager at Rams Hill for several years working in our behalf as she managed the affairs for the Rams Hill Community Association & neighborhoods.  You also know that Arline lost a very dear friend, in fact her best friend and partner in life, her husband Bob Whited in 2005.  Arline has since put her home in Borrego up for sale and moved to Ranch Bernardo.  Thanks Arline for lots of great memories at Rams Hill.

News from the Clubhouse - soon you will be receiving the latest news from David & Greg about  the future of Rams Hill.  By the way - in case you weren't aware, David & Greg recently celebrated the grand opening of their new hotel in Brentwood - a former Holiday Inn just below the famous Getty Museum.

That's it for this time around.  If you have any noteworthy news you would like to share please pass it along.

Sincerely,
Pat McArron
